Privacy
In short: this website works without advertising cookies and without content from third-party servers. All fonts, images and scripts are loaded from our own server. To improve the site we keep our own, anonymous visitor statistics – without cookies and without passing anything on to third parties.
Visitor statistics
Using only our own, self-hosted server, we record how the website is used: pages and sections viewed, use of the availability calendar (dates selected, prices shown), images viewed and roughly how long a visit lasts. No cookies are set and no form entries are recorded – with one exception: a discount code you enter, or one that arrives via a promotional link, is stored so that we can see how well a discount campaign is doing. Your name, email address and everything else in the booking form stay out of it. The IP address is stored only in truncated form and is used solely to determine the country of origin and as a short-lived, pseudonymous identifier (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in understanding and improving what we offer). It is therefore not possible to draw conclusions about individual people; the raw data is deleted after two years at the latest.
Bookings
When you submit a booking through the booking form, we store the contact details you entered together with the dates you requested, the calculated price and – for technical reasons – your IP address. We use this data solely to process and confirm your booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). It is not passed on to third parties and is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for handling the booking and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Availability calendar
The availability calendar shows only whether an apartment is free, reserved or booked. Personal data belonging to other guests is never transmitted to your browser.
Server log files
When the website is accessed, our server processes technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, time, page requested) in log files. These exist solely to keep the website running securely and are deleted regularly.
